Ethos is seeking an experienced communications director to help train AI models on professional document tasks, including drafting press materials, briefing memos, and editorial guidelines. You will shape messaging for executives and ensure AP style accuracy while crafting high-quality documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks.

The role is fully remote, 5–20 hours per week, ASAP start, with compensation at $70/hour.

Qualifications

• Five-plus years in journalism, corporate communications, or public relations producing deadline-driven press content.
• Proven ability to shape messaging for executives or media outlets with strong news judgment and AP-style accuracy.
• Expert-level craft in documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with meticulous written communication.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for core workflows.
• Maintain high editorial standards and style consistency across all deliverables.
• Collaborate with clients to tailor messaging and crisis communication responses as needed.
