Job summary

Ethos is seeking a Head of Communications to lead the creation, evaluation, and refinement of AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will shape messaging for executives and media, deliver under tight deadlines, and ensure editorial quality across press releases, talking points, and internal communications.

This fully remote role offers 5–20 hours per week with a pay rate of $70 per hour, start ASAP, and flexible commitment to fit project needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in journalism, corporate communications, or public relations producing content under deadlines.
• Experience shaping messaging for executives or media outlets with strong news judgment.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for core workflows.
• Produce press releases, briefing memos, executive talking points, crisis plans, and editorial guides.
• Ensure material adheres to AP style or equivalent standards and maintains quality under deadlines.
