Ethos is seeking experienced press officers to help train an AI language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated material across press releases, executive briefs, crisis plans, and editorial calendars.

Candidates should have 5+ years in journalism or corporate communications, with sharp news judgment and AP style mastery, and a track record of shaping messages for executives or media outlets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in journalism, corporate communications, or public relations producing press releases, briefing memos, or editorial content under deadline pressure.
• Track record of shaping messaging for executives or media outlets, with sharp news judgment and command of AP style or equivalent editorial standards.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows.
• Draft press releases and media statements, executive talking points, and briefing memos.
• Assist with crisis communications response plans, editorial style guides, content calendars, and newsletters.
