Job summary

Ethos is seeking experienced directors of public affairs to help train an advanced language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will craft and evaluate AI-generated content across press releases, briefing memos, talking points, crisis plans, and calendars, contributing editorial standards and accuracy.

This fully remote role offers flexible 5–20 hours per week with an ASAP start.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in journalism, corporate communications, or public relations producing press releases, briefing memos, or editorial content under deadline pressure
• Track record of shaping messaging for executives or media outlets, with sharp news judgment and command of AP style or equivalent editorial standards
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate, and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows (press releases, briefing memos, executive talking points)
• Develop editorial style guides and content calendars for AI-assisted outputs
• Assist in crisis communications plans and media tracking spreadsheets to ensure accuracy and consistency
