Job summary

OCBC Group is seeking an Operations Specialist in Asset Services to perform pre-processing checks on client payments and to verify callbacks for asset transfers. The role requires meticulous attention to procedures, strong English communication, and the ability to work under pressure.

You will handle end-of-day controls, manage inquiries, and contribute to process improvements while collaborating with Front Office and Support staff in a Private Bank setting.

Qualifications

• At least 3–5 years in Private Bank Operations, remittances or callback.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with banking systems a plus.
• Detail-oriented with risk awareness.
• Able to work under time pressure and independently.

Responsibilities

• Pre-processing checks for payments ensuring approvals and signing mandates are followed.
• Callback verification for asset transfers and static updates.
• End-of-day control checks and error escalation as needed.
• Resolve queries from Business or escalate to appropriate parties.
• Identify control gaps and participate in process improvements.
