FUJIFILM Wako Pure Chemical Corporation seeks an experienced Regional Business Development professional to drive growth across Southeast Asia and the Pacific. The role combines commercial leadership with technical sales and application support to translate market needs into practical product and commercial solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years’ experience in technical sales, business development, product management or distributor management for laboratory chemicals, analytical reagents, reference materials, chromatography products or analytical instruments.
• Practical experience supporting customers in pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratory testing, quality control or related industries.
• Practical Knowledge of Bacterial Endotoxin Testing and related laboratory testing methods.
• Experience working with distributors and customers across Southeast Asian markets, with the ability to convert technical needs into practical product and commercial solutions.
• Strong English communication, presentation and technical-training skills, with willingness to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Regional Business Development: analyse market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities and maintain a sales pipeline.
• Customer and Distributor Management: develop relationships, improve market coverage and resolve issues.
• Technical Sales and Application Support: assess requirements, recommend products, conduct demonstrations and training.
• Product and Market Development: identify new products and market segments; support launches.
• Business Performance and Regional Coordination: prepare forecasts, monitor progress, coordinate with regional stakeholders, ensure compliance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
