Job summary

Jung Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a technically oriented sales professional to explain product benefits during presentations to engineers and technical teams, and to plan, oversee and implement projects.

You will collaborate with export managers, engineers, drafters and partners, coordinate with warehouses, attend trainings, travel when needed, and ensure on-site installation quality and timely project closure.

A diploma in a relevant field and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

2 years' experience in technical sales.
At least 2 years' experience handling technical roles internally.
Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Sales or Business.
Display a go-getter attitude and self-motivated.
Willing to travel and at short notice at times.
Capable of working using MS Office Suite and computer systems.
Good presentation skills and proficient in explaining technical jargon to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Good interpersonal skills and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the export manager to understand customer requirements and confer with engineers or technical representatives to assess equipment or system requirements
Where necessary, confer with engineers/technical representatives of customers to assess equipment or system requirements.
Recommend appropriate products or solutions to the export manager and partner to attend presentations and present technical specifications to customer technical representatives
Attend internal trainings to ensure thorough understanding of products, solutions and market competition
Liaise with in-house Drafter to ensure technical drawings are drawn according to requirements and specifications
Work closely with Drafter and Product Engineers to identify the best solutions or products for projects
Work with lighting consultants or designers to promote products and solutions as their preferred choice
Monitor and prepare monthly reports on personal sales and project status
Overall planning and management of projects, including liaising with system integrators, contractors and project in-charges on project schedules
Assign appropriate resources for installation and programming, coordinate with Warehouse Team on stock delivery, and be on-site to ensure installation quality and adherence to project schedule
Coordinating with Warehouse Team and Order Processing Supervisor on the stock delivery and date.
Provide technical support to partners and systems integrators, troubleshoot technical matters, and ensure project closure and handover to customers
Be on-site to ensure installation are of quality or acceptable standards and ensure it is being done according to project schedule.
Escalate complex technical matters to Product Engineer.
Ensure project closure and responsible for handling over of completed project to customers.
