Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) in Singapore seeks a hands-on Technical Development professional to support the creation and deployment of marking solutions across materials, and to conduct R&D experiments aligned with client specifications.

The role covers lab operations, testing coordination, and thorough documentation of results, plus acting as a technical liaison for client engagements and ensuring timely project execution with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of new marking solutions, including formulation and application of markers/codes in various materials, compatible and integrable to client's process & specifications - that is scalable & cost efficient
• Conduct and oversee R&D experiments and trials, ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards
• Analyze test results and provide detailed technical reports
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) and prototypes that showcase the technology's application
• Manage day-to-day lab operations, including equipment maintenance, procurement of materials/chemicals, and inventory management
• Coordinate testing schedules and oversee the execution of tests and pilots both internally and with external testing facilities
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all testing activities, results, and processes for internal reviews and external presentations
• Assist in the planning and execution of technology implementation projects for clients, ensuring alignment with project timelines and client requirements
• Act as a technical liaison between the company and clients, providing technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, explaining technical concepts and solutions in a clear and concise manner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Product Development, and Engineering, to ensure successful project execution
• Monitor project progress and address any technical challenges that may arise
• Provide regular updates and feedback to the Head of Technology & Commercialization on project status, risks, and potential areas for improvement
