Private Advertiser in Singapore seeks a Laboratory Manager to lead R&D and electroplating operations, ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance. You will supervise junior staff, oversee CAPA, and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining TDS/SDS, testing samples, and guiding new product formulation and process optimization to reduce costs and enhance performance.
Ensure all products and services comply with customer specifications, quality standards, and requirements.
Lead, supervise, mentor, and train junior staff to promote continuous improvement, technical competency, and high team performance.
Investigate product and process non-conformances, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Develop, review, and maintain Technical Data Sheets (TDS) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS), ensuring they are accurate, up to date, and compliant with relevant regulations.
Reporting to superior time to time on laboratory operations, R&D activities, project progress, technical issues, and product performance.
Conduct performance evaluations of laboratory and R&D staff, identify training needs, and support employee development.
Perform customer sample testing, provide technical support, troubleshoot product-related issues, and respond to customer technical enquiries.
Lead research and development projects, including new product formulation, product improvement, process optimization, cost reduction, and continuous innovation.
Candidate must possess at least Degree in Engineering (Chemical), Chemistry or equivalents.
Minimum 3 years of managerial or supervisory experience in a laboratory, research institution, or R&D environment.
Hands-on experience in the electroplating chemical industry or electroplating production processes.
