Job summary

Future Electronics Inc (Distribution) Pte Ltd is seeking a Quote Coordinator to drive quality quotes and secure opportunities with existing and new customers across ESR Bizpark@Changi. You will collaborate with the branch, product marketing and sales to define strategy and deliver competitive quotes.

Responsibilities include coordinating quote uploads, cleansing data, reviewing quotes with the manager, presenting to sales, and tracking outcomes to improve win rates.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
• Proficient with WCP, AIC, SAIX, MAQM.
• MS Excel skills: PivotTable, VLOOKUP.
• 2–5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience handling high volume of quotes.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for quotes with the branch teams.
• Coordinate quote uploads and cleansing strategy with product marketing.
• Review quotes with the Manager before submission to Branch/Customer.
• Summarize quotes for sales and align with Manager for follow-up actions.
• Create and maintain an award tracker to monitor quotes and backlog.

Job description

Overview

You will be accountable for delivering quality quotes and acquiring business for existing and new customers. Success will come from working with your Manager, product marketing and sales to identify the right opportunities and deliver competitive, quality quotes to our customers. Responsibility will also entail following up on opportunities to yield incremental revenue for Future Electronics.

Responsibilities

1) Sales/ Branch Management

• Work with BM and sales to identify opportunities for quote through SBDU. Interface with the branch to ensure qualification and proper definition of quote and customer objective with your Manager.
• Qualify opportunities by determining quote strategy.
• Follow up to receive customer feedback and award. Create tracker to measure branch conversion results on each significant opportunity.
• Participate in key customer negotiations to maximize wins

2) Quote Coordination

• Coordinate quote upload/cleansing strategy.
• Work quotes to completion involving product marketing.
• Complete quote coversheets detailing strategy
• Ensure QM is classed and parts are cleansed correctly to match dashboard before release to marketing for quote.
• Work with Manager to implement supplier strategies.
• Coordinate locals by supplier – coordinate with field for branch driven locals, identify registration content / CRM
• Communicate all regions to sales to secure protected costs where possible
• Initiate comp costs for quote review

3) Quote Review

• Tactical review of all quoted lines including auto quote, using the quote checklist and timeline
• Review every quote with Manager before it goes back to Branch/Customer
• Daily review of BG quotes

4) Quote Presentation

• Summarize all quotes back to sales; ensuring that the quote meets customer’s expectations.
• Review executive summary with sales in conjunction with Manager to sales to on all quotes to discuss the quote and position, agree on follow-up actions

5) Post Quote / Requote / Award

• Communicate and coordinate feedback to product marketing for re-quote
• Review re-quote provided by product marketing
• Create award tracker for relevant opportunities, measure award to backlog to sales for all quotes.

Qualifications

• A Diploma or Degree qualification or equivalent in relevant field of study.
• Knowledgeable with various programs such as WCP, AIC, SAIX, MAQM etc
• Proficient in using Ms Excel (Pivotable, Vlookup etc)
• At least 2-5 years of relevant experience within the industry.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience in handling high volume of quotes.
