Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for islandwide projects with HQ in Aljunied. This role centers on tendering, cost control, and subcontract management to support profitable, compliant projects.

You will source sub-contractors, perform quantity take-offs, evaluate quotations, prepare cash flows and payment claims, and help finalize subcontract documents. A degree in Quantity Surveying and 1–2 years in construction are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying required.
• 1–2 years of related construction experience.
• Source sub-contractors and prepare costings during tendering.

Responsibilities

• Source sub-contractors and vendors for quotations during tendering.
• Carry out quantity take-offs during tendering.
• Evaluate quotations and prepare costing summaries for approval prior to tender submission.
• Prepare project cash flow statements.
• Prepare and finalize subcontract documents (including all contract and technical requirements).
• Prepare procurement and sub-contract schedules.
• Assist Project Manager with negotiation and award of sub-contracts.
• Ensure submission of bonds/warranties from sub-contractors.
• Prepare payment claims and provide substantiation for variation orders (VO) for valuation.
• Prepare monthly payment certificates and check invoices against delivery orders.
• Prepare monthly reports (contractual matters), including updating and maintaining records for Architect Instructions, Variation Orders, sub-contractor approval lists, and monthly man-hour reports.
• Prepare cost summary reports.
• Update and maintain material price lists for each project.
• Evaluate sub-contractors' performance with the project team.
