Qualifications

• Strong procurement skills for cost-effective material sourcing.
• Able to work independently and communicate well.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate tenders, prepare tender docs and quotations for projects.
• Procure and coordinate purchase of materials with timely delivery and compliance.
• Prepare project budgets, cost reports and cash flow projections.
• Prepare monthly progress claims for progress, variations and final accounts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying/ Civil Engineering/ Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the construction industry in Singapore.
• Must have experience with landed houses / aluminum and glazing projects.
• Strong procurement skills with the ability to source materials at competitive and cost-effective prices.
• Able to work independently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate tenders, prepare tender documents, and quotations for projects.
• Procure and coordinate the purchase of materials required for projects, ensuring timely delivery, competitive pricing and compliance with project specifications.
• Prepare project budgets, cost reports and financial projections, and monitor project costs and cash flow.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims for construction progress, VOs and final accounts, ensuring timely and complete submission for payment.
• Administer contracts and assess contract variations, Extension of Time (EOT) claims, liquidated damages and other contractual matters.
• Compile, check, certify and confirm contractors’ invoices to ensure accuracy with the Purchase Order/ Works Order.
• Review project specifications and provide cost and contractual recommendations.
• Evaluation and certificate of sub-contractors' progress payments.
• Obtain insurances required for project
• Manage and maintain correspondence between all consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers and related parties.
• And any other ad hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time.
