Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in cost estimation and quantity take-offs.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
• Familiarity with BIM, shop drawings, and coordination with main contractors and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requests for proposals to identify project details and requirements for accurate estimating.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and scope of work to ensure comprehensive understanding of project needs.
• Prepare detailed and accurate quantity and component take-offs based on technical documentation to support cost estimation.
• Collaborate with the site team and report progress and issues to the project manager to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Coordinate with project teams monthly to prepare progress claims and follow up on variation works to maintain budget control.
• Maintain and update company pricing databases to support accurate and current cost information.
• Prepare shop drawings (2D, 3D, and BIM), submit for approval, and liaise with main contractors and consultants to secure necessary authorizations.
• Follow up on document and material submissions and approvals to ensure timely project progression.
• Develop material schedules and cutting schedules, coordinating with the production team to align materials with project timelines.
• Prepare monthly claims and invoices to support financial tracking and project cash flow management.
