Job summary

GMP Technologies (S)Pte Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare detailed cost estimates and take-offs, develop project budgets, and support tender evaluation. You will monitor costs, manage variations, and contribute to value engineering with design and construction teams.

Strong communication and risk management skills are essential in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management and 2+ years of relevant experience in construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Experience in budgeting, cost control and contract matters.
• Proficient in cost estimation software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and quantity take-offs from drawings and specs.
• Develop, monitor and control project budgets through the lifecycle.
• Support tender preparation and evaluation including bids and negotiations.
• Monitor costs, identify variations and prevent cost overruns.
• Engage design and construction teams on value engineering and cost optimisation.
• Identify financial and commercial risks and report to stakeholders.
• Provide cost updates to clients, contractors and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, regulations and policies.
