Job summary

LIAN TONG ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to handle tendering, cost estimation, and contract documentation. You will review drawings, prepare bills of quantities, and manage variation orders, claims, and final accounts for tenders in the construction sector.

The role requires a Diploma and at least 2 years of QS experience, with strong analytical and communication skills. Singaporean/PR candidates are preferred for on-site work in Singapore.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents and drawings
• Evaluate tenders and prepare tender and quotations
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts and settlements
• Prepare monthly progressive claims after site supervisor input
• Source supplies and sub-contractors for tenders
• Negotiate with vendors on material pricing for major equipment
• Prepare contractual documents for material purchase
• Prepare bills of quantities including quantity take-off, material sourcing, and estimating material and labour costs

• Reviewing tender documents & drawings
• Evaluation of tender, preparation of tender & quotation
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, and settlements.
• Month progressive claim must be ready and submitted to the main contractor ( after obtaining from site supervisor)
• Ability to source for supplies and sub-contractors for a quotation for tendering
• Negotiate with vendors on material pricing - Major Equipment
• Prepare contractual documents for material purchase
• Prepares bill of quantities which involves quantity take-off, materials sourcing, measuring and estimating material and labour costs used in the tendering process.
  

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma
• 2 years or more of experience in Quantity Surveyor in construction sector
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities of material quantity and take off.
• Good in analytical, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Singaporean/PR are preferred
