Job summary

VA ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to handle cost planning, tender submissions and financial control for construction projects.

You will prepare estimates, evaluate quotations, negotiate with subcontractors, and manage budgets across the project lifecycle, including variation orders, progress claims, and final accounts. You will liaise with clients, consultants, and project teams to ensure contractual and cost reporting accuracy in line with Singapore practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in QS, CM, CE or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant Singapore construction experience.
• Experience with tendering, cost estimation, budgeting, variation orders, progress claims, final accounts.
• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD and quantity take-off software.
• Strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Singapore construction practices and regulations.
• Singapore Citizens and PR preferred.
• Local construction experience advantageous.
