Job summary

J-MPLOY PTE. LTD. is seeking a construction cost estimator to support tender submissions and pre-contract costings. The role involves preparing Bills of Quantities, establishing cost databases, and calculating project costs based on drawings and documentation.

The candidate will assist in assessing contractual claims, monitoring budgets, and coordinating with subcontractors to obtain and evaluate quotations for award, ensuring timely final accounts and variation order resolutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related discipline is required.
• EA License No: 16C8461 and EA Personnel Reg No: R1546564（Neo Jiahao Jeffrey）are noted in the listing.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate tender, prepare tender submission and Bill of Quantities.
• Establish database for costs, materials and supply sources.
• Calculate construction cost for a project (pre-contract) based on drawings and documents.
• Assist in assessment of contractual claims, work progress, etc.
• Invite sub-contractors to submit quotations and evaluate them for award.
• Prepare project budgets, reports and cost estimation.
• Monitor budget and track direct costs on projects.
• Resolve outstanding claim issues on Final Accounts and Variation Orders promptly.

Job Duties

• Evaluation of tender, preparation of tender submission and Bill of Quantity
• Establish database for costs, materials and supply sources.
• To calculate the cost of construction for a project(pre-contract) based on the drawings and documents.
• To assist in the assessment of all contractual claims, work progress, etc.
• To invite sub-contractors of various trades to submit quotations for the projects and evaluate the quotation accordingly to the necessary award of the Sub-Con.
• Preparation of project budgets, reports and cost estimation.
• Monitor budget and keep track of direct costs on projects.
• To resolve any outstanding claim issues on Final Accounts and Variation Orders promptly
