Job summary

SMCC Overseas Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to lead quality assurance on construction sites in Singapore. You will conduct on-site trainings, prepare MS and ITP, arrange testing, and perform regular site inspections to ensure client requirements and QMS compliance.

The role involves daily collaboration with site teams, subcontractors, and clients, with responsibility to close audit findings and achieve project quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Min 3 years as QA/QC Engineer in Construction company.
• Experience in carry out project QA/QC work in commercial / residential / plant / civil work.
• Competency of using CMS, Novate, BIM360 QAQC software.
• Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building & Architecture.

Responsibilities

• To conduct quality briefing / trainings to site personnel.
• To prepare Work Method Statement (MS).
• To prepare Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
• To arrange on-site and laboratory testing in accordance to work trade ITP.
• To conduct regular quality site inspection, internal & joint with Client.
• To monitor QMS ITP & MS are implemented effectively on site.
• To monitor project quality objectives are achieved, provide counter measures if necessary.
• To attend to external and internal audits. To close out any findings, if there’s any.
• To conduct quality audit to subcontractors, and other project sites. To prepare report.
