TECHNIQUES AIR-CONDITIONING & ENGINEERING PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to assist the QAQC Manager and Project Manager in upholding project quality per client specifications. You will coordinate inspections, tests and documentation to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
Requirements include a Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field, and at least 2 years of QA/QC experience in construction, with knowledge of M&E works and BCA quality requirements.
Assis QAQC Manager and Project Manager in monitoring the quality aspects of project operations meet client’s requirement and approved specifications.
Co-ordinate with project team to ensure all inspection and testing requirements are fulfilled and work quality is achieved in order to meet client's requirement as per the contracts.
Inspect, evaluate and monitor to maintain QA standards and recommend corrective actions if needed.
Supervise and implement all test and inspection schedule.
Coordinate with project team to perform quality audits.
Keep record of project audit schedule and reports, monitor closure of action item arising from the audit.
Monitor and liase with subcontractors on quality performance and issuance of non-conformance reports in its course.
Assess subcontractor/ supplier QA arrangements for compliance with contract requirements
Perform welding visual inspection on piping, fittings and structural steel.
Prepare monthly analysis and report to QAQC Manager with recommendations for improvement and preventive measures.
Engage the project team to deliver high quality works through collaboration with Production and Site Management team.
Any other duties as assign from time-to-time.
Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related fields
Preferably min. 2 years experience as QA/QC Engineer in construction industry
Knowledge in M & E works, quality requirement of BCA
Proficient in quality control documents, engineering drawings and specifications
Team player with right attitude, hardworking and resourceful
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications
Working days - 5.5-day week alternate Saturday off
