Job summary

CHECC (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. seeks a QA/QC Manager to oversee on-site quality control across civil and architectural works. You will lead QA/QC activities, conduct inspections, and support CONQUAS/Quality Management assessments for major projects.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with 5–7 years in QA/QC within construction, preferably on large civil infrastructure ventures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 5–7 years of QA/QC management experience in construction.
• Senior Executive level preferred for Civil/Construction roles.
• Experience with large-scale civil or infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of all construction work on site aligns with QAQC requirements.
• Visit project sites and conduct QAQC inspections on Structural and Architectural works.
• Assist in preparation of CONQUAS/Quality Management assessment by BCA with contract requirements.
• Ensure workmanship, procedures and method statements meet specified standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with method statements and proper sequencing.
• Maintain all project quality records and quality audit plans.
• Handle any other duties as assigned.

• Ensure the quality of all construction work performed on site are in accordance with the company's QAQC requirement.
• Visit project sites, arrange and conduct QAQC inspections on mainly Structural Works and Architectural Works.
• Assist project teams in the preparation of project specific CONQUAS/Quality Management assessment by BCA with specific contract requirements.
• Ensure workmanship, procedures and method statements are in accordance to specified standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure works are in compliance with method statements & proper sequence of work and in accordance to BCA's good industry practice.
• Ensure that all project quality records and quality audit plans are maintained.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess Diploma/Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline
• Minimum 5-7 years of working experience as QAQC Manager, preferably in construction/ civil engineering industry.
• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Have experiences in working in large scale projects such as civil or infrastructure project.
