Job summary

HYUNDAI ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION CO. LTD in Singapore is seeking a senior QA/QC Engineer for civil, road and bridge projects. You will review, implement and monitor QA/QC processes, manage NCR/CAR/PAR, and ensure compliance with ITP, MS and RFIs.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Eng and 15+ years of applicable experience, with overnight shift capacity to support production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 15 years experience as QA/QC Engineer on Civil/Roads/Bridge projects.
• Able to implement the QA/QC system effectively.
• Manages NCR, CAR, PAR.
• Able to work several overnight shifts due to overnight production.

Responsibilities

• Review, prepare and submit all material submission documents to client for approval before site use.
• Maintain and update the Master Material submission register.
• Monitor day-to-day site activities and ensure works align with ITP/Method Statement.
• Arrange and inspect tests of all materials/works per specification.
• Update and record test reports and submit to clients.
• Raise NCR for non-conformance works and follow up corrective actions.
• Liaise with site team on NCN issues and corrective actions to close out.
• Liaise with QPS/LTA on site quality issues.
• Review ITP/Method Statements before client submission.
• Maintain and update QA/QC forms/checklists used on project.
• Tidy and keep quality documents/reports for precast elements.
• Inform subcontractors of defective works and follow up.
• Prepare and inform subcontractors of defective items.
• QA/QC observations on site and follow-up.
• Prepare ITPs, MS, RFIs and final handover documents.

Job description

• Review, prepare and submit all the material submission documents to client for the approval before being used on site
• Maintain and update the Master Material submission register
• Monitor closely all the day to day site activities and check whether the works being carried out based on ITP / Method Statement
• Arrange and inspect the tests of all the materials/Works to be tested as per the Spec requirement
• Update and record all the test reports pertaining to the materials / work and submit the reports to clients
• Raise NCR for all the Non Conformance works and follow up with necessary corrective actions to be taken
• Liaise with site team related to the NCN issued and follow with corrective action to close out the NCN
• Liaise and resolve with QPS/LTA regarding any issues on site related to quality of works
• Review and check the Method Statements / ITP of works before submitting to clients for approval
• Maintain and update all the forms / check lists which has been used on the project
• To tidy up and keep all the quality documents / reports for Precast elements
• Prepare and inform all the subcontractor’s defective works as QA/QC observation to Site team and follow up
• Able to update and record all the test reports pertaining to the materials / work and submit the reports to clients
• Can liaise and resolve work related quality of work issues with QPS/LTA

Job Requirements
