Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end-to-end IT and digital transformation initiatives for public sector clients. You will work with government stakeholders, internal teams, vendors, and business partners to ensure delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality.

Responsibilities include project governance, risk management, and multi-stakeholder coordination across complex environments. Strong communication and governance skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in IT project management, programme management, or digital transformation.
• Proven experience managing projects across end-to-end lifecycle, from planning and requirements through implementation and closure.
• Strong experience in stakeholder management, project governance, risk management, budget management, and vendor management.
• Experience managing system implementation, application development, digital platforms, infrastructure, or enterprise technology projects.
• Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, dependencies, and project workstreams.
• Good understanding of Agile, Scrum and/or Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
• Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT and digital transformation projects for public sector clients.
• Develop and maintain project plans covering scope, timelines, resources, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate across government stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and business partners to drive delivery.
• Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders with regular progress updates, risks, and dependencies.
• Establish and maintain project governance, including status reporting, RAID tracking, steering committee updates, and management reporting.
• Manage risks, issues, changes, and dependencies with mitigation and escalation as needed.
• Oversee budgets, resource planning, procurement, contracts, and vendor performance.
• Facilitate requirements discussions, workshops, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
• Coordinate system development, testing, UAT, implementation, migration, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
• Monitor vendor and delivery team performance to meet contractual obligations and service levels.
• Ensure activities comply with government policies, security requirements, governance frameworks, and technology standards.
• Support audits, documentation, approvals, and governance/compliance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and stakeholder experience.
• Build strong relationships with government agencies, senior stakeholders, and business users.
• Support multiple projects or workstreams concurrently.
