Job summary

Huationg Contractor Pte Ltd seeks a Public Outreach Coordinator to implement and manage the approved outreach programme for construction projects. You will inform residents and neighbours about progress, schedules, and potential nuisances, while handling feedback and complaints with professional follow-up.

The role requires strong English communication, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage with residents, schools, and community organisations.

Job Scope

• Implement and manage the approved Public Outreach Programme for the project.

• Inform residents, neighbouring premises, and the public of project progress, construction schedules, potential nuisances, and mitigation measures.

• Handle public feedback and complaints relating to noise, dust, and other construction activities, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.

• Maintain a register of feedback cases, investigations, follow-up actions, and closure records.

• Liaise with residents, schools, nursing homes, community organisations, the Superintending Officer (SO), Employer, and project team.

• Arrange regular community meetings, where required, to address public concerns and environmental issues.

• Maintain good relationships with neighbouring stakeholders and keep the community informed of relevant project activities.

• Ensure all public outreach activities comply with project requirements and instructions from the SO and Employer.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or higher qualification from a recognised institution.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.

• Excellent command of English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to communicate effectively with residents, the general public, and project stakeholders.

• Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle public feedback and complaints professionally.

• Experience in construction or infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
