Job summary

CHINA COMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED (SINGAPORE BRANCH) is seeking a Public Relations Assistant to support community engagement and communications for a major MRT construction project in Singapore.

You will assist in handling public feedback, prepare notices and publicity materials, manage social media, and coordinate with residents, stakeholders and on-site teams. Diploma or degree required; 1–2 years' relevant experience; Canva and MS Office skills desirable.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
• 1–2 years in customer service, PR, or admin.
• Fresh graduates with positive attitude welcome.
• Construction or MRT project experience is an advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Canva experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist in handling public complaints and enquiries through the project hotline.
• Liaise with residents, stakeholders and construction teams to address concerns.
• Prepare and distribute notices, letters, announcements and publicity materials.
• Create publicity collaterals: posters, banners, brochures, presentations.
• Manage project social media platforms and communication channels.
• Support daily operations of the Project Information Centre and visitor coordination.
• Organise community engagement programmes, CSR activities and company events.
• Maintain complaint records, stakeholder databases and engagement reports.
• Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Public Relations team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reports to the Senior Public Relations Officer.
• Assist in handling public complaints, enquiries and feedback through the project hotline and other communication channels.
• Liaise with residents, stakeholders and construction teams to follow up on public concerns.
• Assist in preparing and distributing construction notices, letters, announcements and publicity materials.
• Create and design publicity collaterals, including posters, banners, brochures, presentations and social media graphics.
• Assist in managing the project's social media platforms and communication channels.
• Support the daily operations and maintenance of the Project Information Centre (PIC), including visitor coordination and updating project displays.
• Assist in organising community engagement programmes, CSR activities and company events.
• Maintain complaint records, stakeholder databases and engagement reports.
• Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Public Relations team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Specification:

• Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in customer service, public relations, communications or administration. Fresh graduates with a positive attitude are welcome to apply.
• Construction or MRT project experience will be an added advantage.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Canva or other graphic design tools.
