Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a proactive Public Relations/PRO professional in Singapore to serve as the main liaison between the project team and residents, businesses, and the public. The role involves managing enquiries, feedback, and complaints while coordinating with project teams and authorities to address concerns.

You will conduct site engagements, briefings, and stakeholder meetings, ensuring timely follow-up.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably within the construction, infrastructure or built environment sector.
• Prior experience as a PRO on construction projects would be advantageous.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
• Able to handle public feedback and complaints professionally and tactfully.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with project/site teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of public feedback, complaints, correspondence and follow-up actions.
• Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and relevant authorities to address public concerns.
• Prepare and distribute notices, circulars, newsletters and other communication materials relating to project activities.
• Monitor surrounding areas and proactively identify potential community or stakeholder concerns.
• Support community engagement activities and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders throughout the project.
• Assist with incident and crisis communications where required.
