Job summary

Public Service Division at Changi Water Reclamation Plant seeks an Assistant Engineer/Senior Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) to maintain and operate critical water treatment equipment. The role involves coordinating with engineers and contractors to implement maintenance strategies ensuring safe discharge and high-quality NEWater production.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to respond to urgent situations outside normal hours.
• Comfortable with site works in a used water environment.
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance on M&E and auxiliary equipment in used water treatment processes.
• Assist supervisor to procure essential spares, monitor spares inventory and expenditures.
• Respond to equipment abnormalities and carry out SOP when required.
• Utilize enterprise systems such as the Asset Management System for procurement, contract management, asset and inventory management.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, and equipment reliability.

As an AssistantEngineer/Senior Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) at Changi Water Reclamation Plant, you will play a vital role in treating used water to produce high-quality NEWater and ensure safe discharge to the sea.
