Job summary

The Management Corporation - Strata Title Plan No. 1166 is seeking a Facilities/Building Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of a condominium. You will supervise contract work, coordinate testing for licenses, manage upkeep, and address resident inquiries.

The role includes supporting council meetings and administrative duties for financial operations and contracts. Qualifications include 2–3 years of relevant experience, higher NITEC or a diploma in related facilities management fields,

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Higher NITEC in Facilities Management and/or Diploma in Integrated Facility Management, Real Estate Business, Hotel & Leisure Facilities Management and its equivalent qualifications.
• Knowledge of Building (Strata Management) Act will be an added advantage.
• Demonstrated oral and written communications skills.
• Mature and outgoing personality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Working hours are 5.5 days per week (Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm; Sat 8.30am-12.30pm).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day to day operations of Building / Condominium.
• Ensure all contract work / routine service are carried out according to contract agreements.
• Supervise project work in common areas and schedule testing with technicians for building certificates & licence renewal.
• Manage and maintain all upkeeping activities of the site / estate.
• Receive and attend complaints by residents and owners on the common property.
• Prepare for council meetings and general meetings including management reports and follow up on instructions.
• Assist Condominium Manager in administrative work including change of mandate and review of contracts, agreements and insurance before expiry.
