Sunray Woodcraft Construction Pte Ltd seeks a senior Project Planner to lead planning for large building projects in Singapore. You will develop and maintain master programmes and baselines using Primavera P6 and MS Project, and coordinate with architects and site teams.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years in project execution planning in construction, strong critical path analysis, risk management, and leadership of planning staff.
Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
Prepare and manage Master Programmes, Baseline Programmes, Recovery Programmes, and Look-Ahead Schedules.
Establish project execution strategies and planning methodologies to achieve project milestones.
Monitor work progress against approved baselines and recommend corrective actions when required.
Conduct critical path analysis and identify project risks and schedule constraints.
Lead the preparation of Project Execution Plans (PEP), Construction Method Statements, Logistics Plans, and Resource Plans.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure construction sequencing and work activities are aligned with project objectives.
Drive planning reviews and progress meetings with project stakeholders.
Develop mitigation and recovery plans to address project delays and productivity issues.
Coordinate architectural activities and design deliverables with consultants, project managers, and site teams.
Review architectural work sequences and ensure integration with overall project schedules.
Monitor design approvals, shop drawing submissions, and material submissions to prevent project delays.
Provide planning support for architectural works and design-related programme activities.
Lead project planning presentations to senior management, clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
Prepare professional reports, dashboards, and progress presentations.
Present project performance, risks, recovery plans, and programme updates during management and client meetings.
Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate project success.
Lead and mentor planners and project control personnel.
Provide technical guidance and planning expertise to project teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Planning Department.
Support the development of planning standards, processes, and best practices.
Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (C&S) / or a related field.
Professional certification in Primavera P6, Project Management, or Construction Planning will be an added advantage.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Project Execution Planning within the building and construction industry.
Minimum 3 years of Architectural coordination, planning, or design management experience.
Proven experience in managing project planning functions for large-scale building construction projects.
Experience with project scheduling, project controls, delay analysis, and recovery planning.
