Job summary

China Communications Construction Company Limited (Singapore Branch) seeks an experienced Architect/Project Manager to lead design efforts for an LTA Rail project in Tampines. You will oversee architectural teams, coordinate with consultants, and ensure timely delivery of design deliverables.

The role requires a minimum 10 years of architectural experience, 8 years in managing design teams, and strong coordination and communication skills. Office-based in Tampines with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of architectural experience with a recognized degree in a relevant field.
• At least 8 years of experience in managing design and architectural teams for projects of similar scale and complexity (LTA Rail project).
• Strong project coordination and organisational skills.
• Independent, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and emotional maturity.

Responsibilities

• Manage the APS Contract – ensure contractual obligations, project scope, deliverables, cost, quality and compliance with LTA requirements.
• Project Planning & Programme – develop and monitor work programmes, construction methodologies, schedules and milestones.
• LTA Standards & Workmanship – ensure works comply with LTA specifications, approved drawings, quality and workmanship.
• Subcontractor & Supply Chain Management – coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, manpower, materials and resources.
• Project Coordination & Meetings – attend LTA meetings, coordinate with consultants and stakeholders, resolve issues and follow up on actions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the APS Contract – Ensure contractual obligations, project scope, deliverables, cost, quality, and compliance with LTA requirements are properly managed.

• Project Planning & Programme – Develop and monitor work programmes, construction methodologies, schedules, milestones, and critical activities to ensure timely completion.

• LTA Standards & Workmanship – Ensure all works comply with LTA specifications, approved drawings, standards, quality requirements, and required workmanship.

• Subcontractor & Supply Chain Management – Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, manpower, materials, and resources to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.

• Project Coordination & Meetings – Attend LTA architectural and project team meetings, coordinate with consultants and stakeholders, resolve project issues, and follow up on actions and deliverables.

• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management.

Job Specification:

• Minimum 10 years of architectural experience with recognized Degree in relevant field.

• At least 8 years of experience in managing design and architectural teams for projects of similar scale, complexity of Architectural work at LTA Rail Project.

• Strong project coordination and organisational skills.

• Independent, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and emotional maturity.
