Job summary

RECRUIT EXPERT PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly experienced Architect to take overall responsibility for architectural execution on site for major LTA projects in Singapore. You will provide professional direction, ensuring works adhere to approved designs, specs, LTA requirements, and contracts.

You will lead reviews of design matters, coordinate drawings and submissions, and act as the principal interface among LTA, consultants, contractors and other disciplines to resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect with relevant professional registration and experience suitable for LTA projects.
• Degree in Architecture or a relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for architectural execution on site, providing professional direction and ensuring works comply with approved designs, specifications, LTA requirements and contractual obligations.
• Lead the review and resolution of architectural design matters, including drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, mock-ups, method statements, RFIs and technical queries.
• Act as the key architectural interface between the LTA Architectural Team, Consultants, Contractors, RTOs and other disciplines, driving timely resolution of design and site coordination issues.
• Oversee architectural quality, progress and compliance, identify construction risks, defects and non-conformances, and direct appropriate corrective actions.
• Provide professional architectural input at technical and progress meetings, monitor works through completion and handover, and ensure all architectural records and documentation are properly maintained.

Requirements

• Registered Architect with relevant professional registration and experience suitable for LTA projects.
• Degree in Architecture or a relevant discipline
• At least 7 years of construction supervision experience on major projects of comparable scale and complexity in Singapore.
• Strong expertise in architectural construction, detailing, materials, finishes, technical documentation and multidisciplinary site coordination, with good knowledge of LTA requirements and procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities; MRT, railway or LTA project experience.
