Job summary

JDA WMS Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead complex commercial and healthcare building projects, delivering on schedules, budgets and safety standards. You will oversee HVAC, cooling plants and chiller systems, maintain ISO 9000 / OSHAS 18000 compliance, and drive risk management and cost‑effective installation methods.

Leading site teams, ensuring code compliance and strong client relations, you will mentor staff and manage variations with a focus on quality

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant engineering experience, including at least 5 years in a Manager/Project Manager capacity.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge in Mechanical scope, particularly chiller and cooling plant systems; contractor-side background preferred.
• Certifications & Compliance: Knowledge of ISO 9000 / OSHAS 18000; BCSS certification preferred; familiarity with local Codes of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop master construction schedules, ISO Quality Plans and OSHA Safety Plans; manage budgets and risk.
• Lead site operations, ensure compliance with codes, oversee HVAC and chiller systems.
• Negotiate variations and commercial terms with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Mentor site staff, enforce safety standards and resolve escalations.

We are seeking a senior Mechanical Project Manager to lead project teams in driving the successful execution and delivery of commercial and healthcare/hospital building projects. This role oversees full-lifecycle project management under the PDCA framework, ensuring strict alignment with master schedules, budgets, ISO/OSHA standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Delivery & Strategy: Develop master construction schedules, ISO Quality Plans, OSHA Safety Plans, and budget controls. Manage risk management schemes and drive cost-reduction installation methods.

• Technical & Site Leadership: Lead site operations, ensure compliance with local Codes of Practice, and oversee technical aspects, particularly HVAC, cooling plant, and chiller systems.

• Commercial & Variation Management: Negotiate project variations and commercial terms with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors while maintaining strong, trust-based relationships.

• Team Leadership & Quality: Mentor site staff, improve daily operational performance, enforce safety compliance (BCSS standards), and proactively resolve site escalations.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience).
