Job summary

JDA WMS Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Project Manager to lead a government hospital project, overseeing a technical team with lab and clean room installation experience to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with safety and quality at the forefront.

You will develop master schedules, quality and safety plans, coordinate suppliers and subcontractors, and train junior staff while managing risks and variations to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma with substantial experience.
• 15+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in a managerial/project manager role.
• 8–10 years in installation and project management (Mechanical/Electrical) with large contract values.
• Strong background in lab, clean room, chiller, data centre, or hospital installations.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000/45001/14001 and OSHA Safety-related certifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the project team to deliver on schedule under a plan-do-check-action (PDCA) approach
• Develop the master schedule, ISO Quality Plan, OSHA Safety Plan, risk mitigation, and budget plans
• Oversee installation methods, driving efficiency and cost-saving improvements
• Build relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and customers, negotiating variations as needed
• Coordinate site staff and subcontractors on safety compliance and daily communication
• Guide and train junior staff, resolving site issues proactively

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Diploma with at least 10 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 15 years' relevant experience, including 5 years in a managerial/project manager role
• 8–10 years of installation and project management experience (Mechanical/Electrical), with contract values ranging from $10–100 million
• Strong background in lab, clean room, chiller, data centre, or hospital installations
• Knowledge of ISO 9000/45001/14001 and Building Construction Safety Supervisor certification
• Preferred: candidates with contractor-side experience and strong technical coordination across disciplines
