Job summary

JDA WMS Pte Ltd is seeking a Construction Manager to own a government hospital project, driving mechanical installation works from planning through completion in a lab and clean room environment.

You will deliver milestones, manage schedules and budgets, and lead cross‑disciplinary coordination with suppliers and customers to ensure quality and safety targets are met.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Diploma with at least 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• At least 15 years' overall experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial or project manager capacity.
• 8-10 years specifically in mechanical/electrical installation and project management, on contracts valued between $10-100 million.
• Proven track record in lab, clean room, chiller, data centre, or hospital projects.
• Familiar with ISO 9000/45001/14001 standards and hold a Building Construction Safety Supervisor certification.
• Preferred: contractor-side background with strong cross-disciplinary coordination skills.

• Deliver project milestones on schedule, applying a plan-do-check-action (PDCA) approach to quality, safety, and environmental targets
• Draw up the master construction schedule, quality and safety plans, risk assessments, and budget, aligned to contract requirements
• Introduce new or improved installation methods to control cost and boost efficiency
• Manage day-to-day coordination with suppliers and subcontractors, negotiating variations and resolving site issues
• Establish clear communication channels across the site team and with the customer
• Mentor site staff, addressing skill gaps through ongoing training and guidance

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Diploma with at least 10 years of relevant industry experience
• At least 15 years' overall experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial or project manager capacity
• 8-10 years specifically in mechanical/electrical installation and project management, on contracts valued between $10-100 million
