Job summary

fp (sin) pte. ltd. is seeking a capable professional to oversee construction project execution, ensuring documentation accuracy and smooth operations on site.

You will coordinate with the Main-Contractor, plan progress against schedule, and work with offices to prepare claims and certificates. Strong leadership and communication are essential to manage the project team and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in M&E, Construction Management or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and leadership to manage project team and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth completion of the assigned project in documentation and operational aspects.
• Attend site meetings with the Main-Contractor and update Directors on site issues.
• Plan and ensure site progress follows the approved Schedule.
• Collaborate with office staff to prepare monthly Progress Claims and Payment Certificates.
• Ensure works are executed per approved plans/drawings and contract specifications.
• Manage and review the project teams' monthly performance.
• Account for all materials and equipment delivered to site.
• Prepare worker organizational charts for Company and Supply Worker.
• Manage workers’ time schedules and obtain Managing Director approval for overtime.

Job description

What you'll do

• To be responsible for the smooth completion of the assigned project, in terms of both documentations and operational aspects;
• To attend site meetings with the Main-Contractor whenever necessary with regards to any site issues, and to update to the Directors;
• To plan and make sure site work progress follows the Schedule;
• To work closely with office staff to prepare monthly Progress Claims, Payment Certificates, or the like;
• To ensure the works are executed in accordance with approved plans/drawings and in accordance with contract specifications;
• To manage and review the teams for their monthly performance;
• To manage and account for all materials & equipment delivered to site;
• To prepare and assist worker Organizational Chart for both the Company’s workers and Supply Worker alike;
• To manage workers’ time schedule. Must make sure workers, especially supply workers, do not work unnecessary overtime. Any overtime works must be first approved by the Managing Director before commencement;
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Managing Director.

What we're looking for

• Min Degree or Diploma in M&E, Construction Management or equivalent related field.
• Min 3 years relevant work experience
• Possess good communication skill and leadership quality to manage project team and stakeholders.

Work arrangement

• 5.5 day work week - Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm; Sat 8am to 12noon;
• (may require to workextended hours depending on the site operational program set by your superior.)
