Job summary

unitech e&c pte. ltd. is seeking a Project Manager to plan and execute site organization, master programme, and ensure delivery aligns with company goals and client expectations.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in construction (preferably school/nursing home) with at least 3 years in project management, strong interpersonal skills, and experience coordinating with architects and consultants on site progression.

Qualifications

• Degree is required (Civil Engineering / MEP or equivalent).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction (preferably School / Nursing Home projects).
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience.
• Preferably with full cycle of project experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement site organization and resources; map out Master Programme; align project targets with company goals.
• Oversee project team and subcontractors to meet contract completion dates and quality expectations.
• Liaise with Architects/Consultants during site progression; submit progress claims, monthly reports, variation orders and EOT claims.
• Ensure compliance with client expectations and regulatory requirements; resolve site issues.

Education

Degree in Civil Engineering / MEP or equivalent

Job description

Project Management

• Plan & implement overall site organization & resources
• To map out overall Master Programme
• To set project’s target & in alignment to company’s objective/ goals
• To oversees the project team and sub-contractors in delivery of project in accordance to approved contract completion date/ stipulated phases
• To ensure quality delivery of the project by meeting of Client’s expectation and satisfying relevant authority and regulatory compliances
• To approve short-term/ phasing work schedule(s) submitted by subordinates
• To liaise with Architect/ Consultants in all aspects of construction matters during the site progression phase
• Submit progress claim and monthly report
• Submit variation order & EOT claim
• To resolve all site issues

Project Budget Control

• Plan and monitor preliminary cost budget to ensure project cost within approved budget
• To map out Projected S-Curve for project financial cash flow
• To implement control measures on material / plant & equipment / utilities usage
• Control of direct labour costs in labour allocation and working of overtime & etc

Technical Understanding

• Understanding of drawings, specification requirements and contract scope of works

Job Requirements:
