Job summary

STIE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee complex building projects, ensuring on-time delivery, within budget and to quality standards. You will lead a team on site, coordinate with consultants and authorities, and ensure regulatory compliance.

You have a Bachelor's in Engineering, 3-5 years in construction PM, and proficiency with MS Project or Primavera P6. Strong planning, teamwork, and communication are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• Proficient knowledge in building and construction works with detailed knowledge for building processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Projects/Primavera P6 or other relevant construction software
• Min 3-5 years experience in construction project management

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall project implementation within time, cost and quality targets.
• Lead stakeholders to determine specifications, planning and execution of day-to-day operations on site.
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities, and ensure compliance with MOM, NEA, HDB and other regulations.
• Determine needed resources from start to finish with attention to budgetary limits.
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to meet deadlines.
• Acquire equipment and materials and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies.
• Supervise the work of the project team and provide guidance, or resolve issues swiftly.
• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports for management.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and report issues.
• Lead site coordinators, safety personnel and supervisors/workmen for daily progress.
• Manage site coordinators for submissions and discussions with consultants and authorities.
• Work on all site documents such as method statements, programmes and other submissions

Job description

• Supervise the work of the project team and provide the necessary guidance, or resolve issues and conflicts swiftly
