Job summary

Datumstruct is seeking an on-site Project Manager to lead planning and implementation of construction projects in Singapore, coordinating with subcontractors, clients, and consultants to ensure timely progress.

You will manage project teams, control quality and risks, and ensure compliance with contractual and safety requirements, with an emphasis on documentation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or diploma in relevant engineering or building discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant project coordination/management experience.

Job Summary

You will lead project planning and implementation on-site, coordinating with subcontractors, clients, and consultants to ensure timely construction progress. Manage project teams, control quality and risks, and ensure compliance with contractual and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement construction projects on-site to meet schedule and quality standards
• Coordinate construction activities with subcontractors, clients, and consultants to ensure progress aligns with project timelines
• Lead, manage, and provide training to project members and staff to enhance team performance
• Develop and execute quality control plans and risk management strategies for projects
• Apply Project Management System and processes to ensure consistent project execution
• Collect and analyze data on work progress to assess adequacy and effectiveness of project activities
• Monitor and track project milestones, update progress reports, and maintain project documentation and presentations
• Maintain organized filing and backup of all project documentation for easy retrieval and audit
• Identify project risks and critical paths, collaborating with the project team to develop mitigation and backup plans
• Ensure all construction activities comply with contractual obligations, statutory requirements, and site safety regulations
• Escalate issues and critical risks promptly to relevant stakeholders for timely resolution
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support project success

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Building, or Property-related disciplines with at least 3 years of relevant experience

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Possession of Class 3 driving licence (preferred but not essential)
• Experience in A&A (Additions & Alterations), Renovations, or Fitting works is an added advantage
