Job summary

QING FENG CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery of general building or commercial projects with a main contractor in Singapore. You will manage programmes, budgets, and safety on site, coordinating with subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure timely completion.

You should have a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree, 8 years of relevant experience, and strong leadership, planning, and communication skills to drive project

Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in managing general building or commercial projects with a main contractor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project and planning tools for scheduling and tracking.
  • Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage project delivery in accordance with contract requirements, approved drawings, schedule, and budget.
  • Plan, develop, monitor, and update construction programmes; identify critical paths and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution and timely completion.
  • Manage project budgets, cost control, cash flow, progress claims, variations, and final accounts with support from Quantity Surveyor.
  • Review construction drawings and resolve technical and coordination issues involving structural, architectural, and M&E works with site team.
  • Monitor site progress, productivity, and workmanship quality; implement corrective measures to address delays or deficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, BCA regulations, contract specifications, and internal procedures.
  • Enforce workplace safety, health, and environmental standards; promote and maintain a strong safety culture on site.
  • Chair site meetings, coordination meetings, and progress reviews; prepare monthly/weekly reports as per client’s requirements.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, defects rectification, and project handover activities.

  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and coordination of structural, architectural, and M&E works.

  • Good understanding of local building regulations, BCA requirements, and workplace safety standards.

  • Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform under tight deadlines.
