Job summary

HOLDEN TILING & CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking a project manager to oversee overall project management, planning and execution, including risk management and budget evaluation. You will supervise workers on multiple sites and monitor progress to achieve timely handovers.

The role requires liaising with sub-contractors and consultants on drawings discrepancies, ensuring safety compliance, and reporting variations to the Company for action. Attendance at site meetings is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall project management, planning & control and execution, with risk management including budget evaluation and profitability.
• Supervise and manage workers on various sites.
• Monitor progress, resolve site construction problems, and ensure smooth project handover; liaise with sub-contractors on progress.
• Liaise with consultants on discrepancies in contract/construction drawings.
• Ensure site works are carried out safely in line with safety provisions.
• Attend all site meetings.
• Report to the Company on variations, verbal instructions and consultant/client comments for action.
• Ensure timely project completion and flag potential delays to the Company.
• Undertake duties as required to facilitate smooth operations and proper employment performance.

Supervise and manage the workers on various sites;

Well-acquainted with the project, monitor the progress of works and resolve all site construction problems and ensure smooth running of all projects so as to achieve timely handover to liaise with sub-contractors on the progress of sub-contract works;

Liaise with consultants on discrepancies in contract/construction drawings;

Ensure all works on sites are carried out in a safe manner in accordance with safety provisions;

Attend all site meetings;

Report to the Company immediately on variation works, verbal instructions and comments from consultants and clients for the Company’s consideration and/or further action;

Ensure that the project is completed on time and inform the Company of you anticipate that the project or any sub-contractor may not complete their tasks on time;

Undertake such duties as may reasonably be required by the Company from time to time to facilitate its smooth operations and/or for the proper performance of your employment.
