Job summary

CORE BUILDING SPECIALISTS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a site coordinator to understand works and coordinate among all trades, including building and M&E, and manage sub-contractors and suppliers on the project. You will prepare project scheduling, monitor progress, and exercise site control to achieve smooth running and timely completion.

Qualifications

• Understands works coordination across trades (building & M&E)
• Experience with coordinating subcontractors and suppliers
• Ability to prepare project scheduling and monitor progress
• Knowledge of site control to ensure smooth running of activities
• Plan manpower allocation for projects
• Awareness of budgetary considerations and cost control
• Ability to supervise site coordinators and supervisors
• Evaluate subcontractor works sequences and methods
• Prepare progress reports on project status
• Prepare and review shop drawings when required
• Ensure workmanship and performance of subcontractors
• Attend project meetings with consultants and clients
• Facilitate on-time completion of works and respond to requirements

• Prepare progress reports reflecting project status and subcontractor performance
• Prepare shop drawings for submission when required
• Ensure workmanship and performance of subcontractors
• Attend project meetings with consultants and clients for timely responses
• Manage safety and environmental issues on site with Safety Coordinator
• Lead the project team to full efficiency and handle additional duties as assigned

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

1. To understand the works and to coordinate among all trades includes building and M&E activities, sub-contractors/suppliers who are employed by the project.
2. Prepare project scheduling, monitoringand exercising site control to achieve smooth running and progress of all activities
3. Determine required resources (manpower, equipments and materials from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations.
4. Plan manpower allocation for our own workersand assigned them to the various projects
5. Close monitoring of all potential cost and time variations to the Contracts
6. To supervise and give necessary guidance to our site coordinators and supervisors to ensure deadlines acheive.
7. Evaluate works sequence and method statement submitted by subcontractors.
8. Prepare progress report to reflect the status of the project, and to feed back on performanceof sub-contractors periodically.
9. Preparation of shop drawings for submission when required.
10. To ensure workmanships and performance of subcontractors
11. To attend all project meetings with consultants and clients and assured fast response to their needs and requirements to facilitate on-time completion of works.
12. Manage the Safety and Environmental issues on site with the assistance of Safety Coordinator or Safety Supervisor
13. Managing and leaded the project team to full efficiency
14. Any other duties as and when assigned by the Company
