Job summary

RHB Construction Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an Over-all In-Charge for Planning and Site Operation to supervise planning, execution, and coordination on site, ensuring adherence to schedule and quality standards.

You will liaise with client, authorities, consultants, QS, purchasing and subcontractors; monitor master programme, conduct progress meetings, and resolve site issues to keep the project on track.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning and site operation as overall in-charge
• Ensure compliance with ISO, safety, and environmental policies
• Liaise with client, authorities, consultants, QS, purchasing and subcontractors
• Monitor and chase authorities submissions and approvals for structure, architecture and M&E
• Chair progress meetings and present to client and consultants
• Monitor master programme and create micro-schedules for all trades
• Track site progress and resolve obstructions to expedite works
• Coordinate with site coordinators and engineers and ensure communications to all parties
• Monitor and chase contract department to award subcontractor works
• Follow up on material samples submission for consultant/client approval
• Assist coordinators/engineers in preparing method statements for approval
• Assist in preparing required mock-up units
• Distribute information to site staff, subcontractors, suppliers and trades
• Prepare correspondences to consultants, subcontractors and HQ
• Maintain testing requirements and records
• Resolve discrepancies with consultants in shortest time
• Monitor daily activity reports from site staff
• Liaise with structure engineer, architectural coordinator and M&E engineer for daily progress
• Perform daily site inspections to ensure progress aligns with schedule
• Perform daily safety inspections and ensure safety provisions on site
• Ensure safety documents are ready for Authority inspections
• Inspect subcontractor works for compliance with approvals and standards
• Accompany consultants and clients for site inspections when necessary
• Monitor all site works to ensure contract/specifications compliance
• Conduct site meetings as required for site issues
• Inspect works by subcontractors for accordance with approved trade demonstrations

• 2.Ensures all company’s ISO, safety,environment policy and procedures are complied with.
• 3.Liaise with Client, Authorities, Consultant,QS, Purchasing and Subcontractors
• 4. To monitor and chase Authorities submission &approval for Structure, Architectural and M&E.
• 5.Chair progress meeting and presentation toClient and Consultants.
• 6.Monitor & Comply to Master Programme andcreate micro schedules for all work trades.
• 7.Closely monitoring of site progress and toresolve whatever site obstruction to expedite works.
• 8.Monitor Coordinators & Engineers andensure all communication will transmit to all parties (Architectural,Structural & M&E – staff & subcontractors)
• 9.Monitor and chase Contract Department toaward subcontractor works
• 10.Monitor and chase Materials samplesubmission for all trades to consultant / client approval.
• 11.Monitor and assist Coordinator &Engineer to Prepare Method Statement for approval.
• 12.To assist Coordinator and Engineer forpreparation of required Mock Up unit.
• 13.Ensure that all information is distributedto all site staff, sub-contractors, suppliers and all other trades involve inthe project.
• 14.Correspondences to Consultants, Subcontractsand HQ.
• 15.Maintains and ensure all testingrequirements and records are in place.
• 16.Ensures all discrepancies are resolved withthe consultants in the shortest time required.
• 17.Monitor daily activity report fromrespective site staff
• 18.Liaise with, Structure Engineer,Architectural Coordinator and M&E Engineer for daily progress of work toensure meet the target schedule of the Project completion.
• 19.Performs daily site inspection to ensurework progress is align to the schedule.
• 20.Performs daily inspection to ensure safetyprovision on site.
• 21.To ensure all safety documents are in placeto get ready for any Authority Inspection.
• 22.Performs daily site inspection to resolvesite problems with the structure Engineer, Architectural Coordinator, M&EEngineer & Site Supervisors.
• 23.Accompanies Consultants and Client for anysite inspection if neccesary
• 24.Monitor all site works to ensure they followaccording to contract and specifications.
• 25.Conducts site meetings as and when requiredin regard to site issues.
• 26.Inspect works carried out by subcontractorsare in-accord with approved trade demonstration
