Job summary

UNIQUETECH PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Site Supervisor to assist the Project Manager and Site Manager in delivering projects on time. You will oversee day-to-day site works, safety, and quality control to meet drawings and specifications.

You will monitor progress with site supervisors, coordinate with subcontractors and clients, plan short-term activities, and ensure risk is managed while maintaining environmental and quality records.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager/Site Manager to ensure site activities run on schedule
• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site works, safety and quality control
• Monitor and coordinate site works, materials, plant and equipment with site supervisors
• Coordinate with Subcontractor/Main Contractor/Consultant/Client for drawings revisions and weekly progress reports
• Assist in planning, programming and monitoring construction progress
• Study tender drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements
• Check drawings and raise technical queries to resolve discrepancies during execution
• Ensure structural and architectural works are performed according to drawings
• Participate in short-term planning to meet site progress and attend client/consultant/sub-contractor meetings
• Manage and ensure timely completion of construction/civil works
• Identify and assess foreseeable workplace risks and minimise environmental impact
• Ensure safe work procedures and environmental controls are implemented and records maintained
• Undertake any other duties as required by the Company

Job description

• - To assist the Project Manager/ Site Manager and ensure that the site activities are executed in accordance with time schedules
• - Supervise and coordinate day to day site works, safety and quality control
• - Monitor & coordinate the site works, materials, plant & equipment with site supervisors
• - Coordinate with the Sub contractor / MainCon / Consultant / Client for whatever revision on drawings & in actual construction & submit weekly site works progress report.
• - Assist in planning, programming and monitoring of construction works progress
• - To study tender / construction drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements
• - Check drawings and raise technical queries to resolve the discrepancies in between drawings and as well as those arisen during the project execution
• - To ensure structural work & architectural work done according to the drawing
• - To carry out short-term planning to meet site progress and involve in client/consultant/sub-contractor meetings
• - Manage and ensure timely completion of construction/ civil works
• - Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work
• processes, minimise environmental impact associated with the construction activities
• - Take reasonable practical measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at the workplace
• - Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented at the work site and quality records are properly maintained
• - Undertake any other work duties as required by the Company
