Job summary

Uniquetech in Singapore is seeking a Site Supervisor to assist Project Manager and ensure construction activities progress according to schedules.

You will supervise day-to-day site works, safety, quality control, coordinate with subcontractors, main contractor, consultants and client, and prepare weekly progress reports. The role requires planning, reviewing drawings, resolving discrepancies, ensuring work aligns with drawings, and maintaining safety and environmental controls.

Job description

• To assist the Project Manager/ Site Manager and ensure that the site activities are executed in accordance with time schedules
• Supervise and coordinate day to day site works, safety and quality control
• Monitor & coordinate the site works, materials, plant & equipment with site supervisors
• Coordinate with the Sub contractor / MainCon / Consultant / Client for whatever revision on drawings & in actual construction & submit weekly site works progress report.
• Assist in planning, programming and monitoring of construction works progress
• To study tender / construction drawings, specifications and contracts to understand project requirements
• Check drawings and raise technical queries to resolve the discrepancies in between drawings and as well as those arisen during the project execution
• To ensure structural work & architectural work done according to the drawing
• To carry out short-term planning to meet site progress and involve in client/consultant/sub-contractor meetings
• Manage and ensure timely completion of construction/ civil works
• Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work
• processes, minimise environmental impact associated with the construction activities
• Take reasonable practical measures to eliminate any foreseeable risk to any person who is at the workplace
• Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented at the work site and quality records are properly maintained
• Undertake any other work duties as required by the Company
