Job summary

Qualifications

• 8+ years as PMO/Project Manager/Business Analyst in banking/financial services.

• PMP/PRINCE2/Scrum Master certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive business cases and Applications for Approval (AFA), including business plans and cost-benefit analyses for project funding.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project objectives, funding requirements, and expected business outcomes.
• Present and clarify AFA submissions to governance committees and approval forums, ensuring compliance with local and global standards.
• Manage end-to-end change governance processes for system enhancements and implementations.
• Ensure all system changes receive the necessary approvals, sign-offs, and governance clearance before deployment.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across business and technology teams to facilitate effective project governance and change management.
• Act as the primary liaison with Head Office to align local project portfolios with corporate strategies, governance frameworks, and reporting requirements.
• Monitor governance adherence and support project teams in meeting organizational standards and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a PMO, Project Manager, or Business Analyst within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and change management frameworks.
• Proficiency in project and governance tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
• Experience preparing business cases, funding proposals, or Applications for Approval (AFA).
• Proven experience managing project governance, change governance, and approval processes.
• PMP certification is an added advantage.
• PRINCE2 certification is an added advantage.
• Scrum Master certification is an added advantage.
