Job summary

Blue Water Shipping is seeking a Project Executive (2-year contract) in Singapore to support FPSO projects globally. You will handle shipment planning, supplier coordination, documentation management and overall logistics execution in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in Mandarin is required to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients. A minimum of 3 years in international freight forwarding is expected, with FPSO experience highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in spoken Mandarin is required to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• At least 3 years of experience in international freight forwarding.
• Experience supporting FPSO freight forwarding projects is highly preferred.
• Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel locally and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Shipment forecast and planning based on materials expediting report.
• Coordinate with client’s suppliers on cargo collection and sourcing for suitable sailing.
• Follow up with overseas offices for freight rates, booking and shipment status.
• Source freight rates from carriers and handle bookings with carriers.
• Prepare shipping documentation, activate shipments, and maintain records.
• Prepare import and export permits for customs declarations.
• Monitor shipment progress daily and follow up on delays or issues.
• Provide regular shipment status updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare quotations and invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Coordinate tender preparations and submissions with local/overseas offices.
• Prepare monthly report of internal project costs and P&L per shipment.

With a track record of over 17 successful FPS projects in the last years, we handle everything from supplier coordination to logistics expediting, documentation management, shipment handling, customs formalities, and project management. Working alongside experienced industry professionals, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth execution of shipments in a collaborative and fast‑paced environment.

Your Role

• Shipment forecast and planning based on materials expediting report

Your Background

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
