Job summary

FASTSTREAM RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Port Services & Project Logistics Coordinator with strong port operations and vessel coordination experience.

You will manage vessel arrivals, berthing, cargo handling, and liaise with clients and authorities to ensure smooth project execution. The role involves planning complex logistics for breakbulk and heavy lift cargo, preparing budgets and proposals, and driving process improvements to support project growth in a dynamic maritime

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in port operations, project logistics, marine services, vessel coordination, freight forwarding or cargo operations.
• Experience managing customer-facing logistics projects, with a strong understanding of port logistics and vessel operations.
• Experience in offshore energy, marine logistics or heavy lift project cargo, and managing project budgets and P&L, is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Singapore maritime regulations and customs requirements, Dangerous Goods awareness or certification, and project management qualifications or experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vessel arrivals, berthing, cargo operations and departures, ensuring efficient turnaround.
• Plan and execute project logistics for breakbulk, containers, heavy lift cargo, offshore equipment and general freight.
• Oversee cargo loading, discharge, storage, transportation and delivery, including import and export movements.
• Liaise with clients, vessel operators, shipping agents, terminals, contractors and regulatory authorities.
• Coordinate marine support services, subcontractors and transport providers to meet project schedules and operational requirements.
• Act as the primary client contact, providing progress updates, managing expectations and resolving operational issues.
• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, quotations and proposals, and monitor revenue, costs and profitability.
• Review supplier quotations, validate invoices and ensure accurate billing and recovery of project variations.
• Maintain cargo, vessel, customs and project documentation, and prepare operational and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with port, maritime, customs and safety requirements, including risk assessments and incident reporting.
• Identify and escalation operational, commercial and safety risks, implementing appropriate controls.
• Drive process improvements and support tenders, logistics solutions and business growth opportunities.
