Job summary

Blue Water Shipping invites an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our FPSO team in Singapore on a 2-year contract. You will oversee shipment forecasting, carrier bookings, documentation and logistics coordination for global FPSO projects, working with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant execution.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years in international freight forwarding.
• Experience supporting FPSO freight forwarding preferred.
• Proven ability to coordinate complex shipments with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead shipment forecast and planning based on materials expediting report.
• Coordinate with client’s suppliers on cargo collection and sourcing for suitable sailing.
• Follow up with overseas offices for freight rates, booking and shipment status.
• Source freight rates from carriers and manage carrier bookings.
• Prepare shipping documentation, activate shipments and maintain records.
• Prepare import/export permits for customs declarations.
• Monitor shipment progress daily and address delays or issues.
• Provide regular shipment status updates to clients and internal teams.
• Prepare quotations and invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Coordinate tender preparations and submissions with local and overseas offices.
• Prepare monthly project cost reports and shipment-level P&L.
