Job summary

CONSTRUCTION RESOURCES PTE. LTD.

is seeking an M&E Coordinator to oversee installation and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems on interior fit-out projects in Singapore. You will manage documentation, liaise with clients and contractors, and ensure safety and quality across all M&E disciplines.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in M&E coordination, preferably in interior fit-out or construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Familiar with construction drawings, project specifications, and technical documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD and Building Management Systems knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience interpreting and coordinating electrical drawings, air conditioning schematics, security/CCTV systems, AV setups, and related MEP components.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• WSH certification for Construction Sites is a plus.
• On-site presence required during project hours.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all M&E works to ensure timely completion and compliance with project timeline.
• Supervise installation and commissioning of M&E systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify M&E works meet safety and quality standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for M&E matters, liaising with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Work with consultants, contractors, and other trades to address technical issues and challenges.
• Review and coordinate construction drawings across MEP disciplines for seamless integration.
• Manage M&E project documentation, including progress reports, submittals, and quality checklists.
• Assist in procurement by evaluating tenders and selecting subcontractors and suppliers for M&E work.
• Monitor and control M&E costs to stay within budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards with regular safety audits and inspections.
• Provide post-project support including defect rectification and addressing operational issues after handover.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) is an advantage.
• Experience in interpreting and coordinating electrical drawings, air conditioning schematics, security systems, CCTV, conference systems, AV setups, and related MEP components.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) for Construction Sites is a plus.
• Ability to work on-site during project hours.
• Occasional requirement to work weekends or outside regular office hours to meet project deadlines.
