Job summary

SSANGYONG ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION CO LTD in Singapore requires an experienced M&E Coordinator to oversee mechanical and electrical works from construction to handover. You will monitor installations, coordinate with contractors and internal teams, and ensure compliance with codes and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Diploma in Building Services Engineering and 5+ years of M&E coordination experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit and strong communication

• Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E coordination for construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, installation procedures, and industry regulations.

• Ability to read and interpret M&E drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Experience of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) technical works for building projects from construction to completion.
• Render all M&E Engineering support to the M&E Manager / Project
• Monitor and inspect M&E installation works, ensuring quality, safety, and proper execution.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, architects, and suppliers to resolve technical issues and site constraints.
• Ensure all M&E works comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and workplace safety requirements.
• Coordinate with all M&E subcontractors, as well as project team structural and architectural colleagues to resolve all drawings, site discrepancy or technical issues.
• Attend all project meetings and progress meetings relating to meeting master program schedule.
• Ensure all M&E site activities are well-planned, well-coordinated and on time.
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and necessary documentation per project
• Identify and resolve site issues related to M&E systems, minimizing disruptions to project progress.
