Job summary

HCN CONTRACTS PTE. LTD. seeks a site-focused professional to support the Project Director on defects, coordination, and controls for construction projects in Singapore.

You will read drawings, liaise with consultants, prepare progress reports, and help develop architectural and shop drawings. Strong CAD and MS Office skills, and familiarity with local building codes, are expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Director in identifying defects and coordinating rectification work.
• Support project coordination tasks, including resolving on-site architectural issues and liaising with consultants and subcontractors.
• Conduct site inspections based on approved drawings and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor site progress and prepare weekly progress reports.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop designs and construction plans, including architectural drawings, shop drawings, mock-ups, and material samples.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the company.

Job description

Roles & Duties:

• Assist the Project Director in identifying defects and coordinating rectification work.
• Support the Project Director in managing site coordination tasks, including resolving on-site architectural issues, issuing updated drawings to relevant parties, and liaising with consultants and subcontractors.
• Conduct site inspections based on approved detailed drawings, interpreted plans, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor site progress and prepare weekly progress reports as required.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop designs and construction plans, including architectural drawings, shop drawings, mock-ups, and material samples.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the company.

Requirement:

• Experience in Private Landed Residential Construction or Interior Design (ID) projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Familiarity with Singapore’s building codes and industry practices.
• Proficiency in using a computer.
• Proficiency in basic software applications, including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
